Awards

Public Invention does not generally pay its volunteers (there are rare exceptions.) We feel it is very important therefore to recognize people as much as possible. We do not give awards to everyone who volunteers, though we try to recognize everyone.

The highest award we present is "Best Public Inventor", because the volunteers who actual invent things are the most important contributors.

However, the growth of Public Invention depends on recruiting invention coaches, so the "Best Invention Coach" is the second most important award we present.
